This facility to house part of Coventry University Faculty of Arts and Humanities was completed in late 2020 and provided temporary specialist teaching facilities for the faculty during the construction of their new building in the heart of the main campus. The new facility was converted from an ex Magnet Showroom on the Foleshill Road in Coventry and provides teaching facilities for Fine Art, Ceramics, Metalwork, Fashion and Print Making.
Careful adaption of the existing building has provided temporary accommodation to meet the high specification of the University Standards and providing bright and attractive teaching and learning facilities. The existing high ceilings and industrial setting lent itself well to the creation of an open and inviting learning environment suitable for creative and Arts based students.
