Compliance Monitoring Architects for the construction of the new Delia Derbyshire building

D5 Architects were appointed as Compliance Monitoring Architects for the construction of the new Delia Derbyshire building (Designed by BDP), providing a new home for the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in the heart of the main Campus. Working alongside the University Estates department and with Main Contractor McLaughlin and Harvey, D5 carry out regular site inspections and review contractors information for ratification against contract requirements.

 

D5 have provided concept designs and briefing documents for elements of internal design, developed the asset register for specialist equipment and acted as stakeholder liaison for coordination of finishing elements within the building. The first phase of the facility is due to be completed in 2022.
