Assay Lofts

Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham

Located in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter conservation area, on the corner of St Pauls Square, Assay Lofts is a contemporary new build development for the client.

The project is a development of thirty-two apartments including 18no 1-bed apartments and 12no 2-bed apartments including 4no duplex apartments. D5 adopted the project post Full Planning Approval. The approved design was then comprehensively redesigned internally to meet our client’s needs. Changes were then re-submitted and approved by Planning. D5 then prepared detailed Employers Requirement design work for a Design & Build tender. Following contractor selection, D5 were novated to the successful main-contractor to complete the Technical Design and provide general attendance as the project progressed on site.
