New Unusual Private House Commission
New design for redevelopment of a green belt sewage works to a family home.
D5 have been asked to look again at a highly unusual site in green belt land near Lichfield. The land was a former sewage treatment plant and retains the tanks and ancillary buildings associated. Planning had previously been achieved by D5 to convert the circular treatment tanks into a three bedroom family home, nicknamed 'Infinity House' after it's unusual figure of eight design. Along with the current owner and a local planning consultant, D5 now aim to gain planning permission to convert a large rectangular treatment tank into a slightly larger home, situated further away from the stream that runs through the site.
