Partner Ian Saunders and Architect Martin Rennie enjoyed the sunshine and hospitality at the Grand Opening of the new D5 designed Langridge Stand at Bath Racecourse today. The stand, which was constructed whilst the racecourse was operational, is home to a 300 cover executive function suite overlooking the finishing line, with an outdoor terrace for spectacular views on race day. D5 also designed the Executive Boxes at Bath, which opened prior to the first race of the season in April 2016.
Jo Hall, Executive Director of Bath Racecourse, said: “Whilst the [new] stand has been built to accommodate our racing business, there has been a real focus on delivering conferences and events, providing us with a great opportunity for us to grow non-race day business. Over the next three years we are looking to double the number of non-race day events, and with a clear focus in these key areas we believe this will be achievable.”
