Carver/ Pope Street

Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham

Residential redevelopment of a site located in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter conservation area.

The project for Complex Development Projects (CDP) includes 30 residential properties which have all be designed to exceed minimum space standards and provide a variety of layout and accommodation types to differentiate the development from others in the area. The majority of units are at least 2-bed with a number of 3-bed and duplex units featuring private terraces into the central courtyards.

The development has been designed as a series of buildings with their appearance influenced by the sites historic neighbours which range in period, scale, mass, material and detail. Buildings within the development include 3, 4 and 5 storey blocks featuring both pitched and flat roofs.

D5 obtained Full Planning Permission for the project and has now commenced Technical Design for a Design & Build tender.
