Bromsgrove, WorcestershireThis project enhances Heart of Worcestershire (HOW) College’s diverse and specialist range of teaching accommodation with two new extensions to the College’s Arts and Technology Facilities.
Firstly, the project extends the Harley Davidson Academy (D5 2005) to accommodate 2 additioal commercial standard automotive workshops. The second part of the project extends the college’s Arts Faculty building along the existing buildings (D5 2004) front elevation and accommodates digital editing and recording suites, music technology, TV and green screen studios plus a games design studio. The design embraces HOW College’s visionary brief for high quality, state of the art teaching facilities. The simple formal compositions of the new buildings contrast with the existing buildings to give them their own identity to reflect their specialist nature.
